Both are quality pieces. You pretty much can't go wrong.

You won't find too many opinions on both in the Evo X forums because not too many people have them.

But, if you post this question in the Evo VIII/IX forum, you'll find lot's of good information on both of these clutches.

I vote WORKS; I personally feel that ACT clutches have subpar quality and don't have a whole lot of R&D into them besides having a heavy pressure plate and stock-like friction material.

I had ACT numerous times in numerous cars, and honestly everytime I used a street styled ACT clutch in any one of my cars, it gave me slightly better preformance than OE clutches.

In my EVO I run WORKS Stg II. and can attest that there is a difference between how this clutch reacts, and how the ACT clutch reacts. Granted the materials are different, but the WORKS clutch gave me near OEM feel, with greater biting power, and never once did I question its ability to provide the best band for my bang. It has yet to slip, with nearly 30k miles logged onto the WORKS clutch.

WORKS

the best band for your bang?

uhh..

I have used ACT on all my DSM's, pedal pressure went up a little, but nothing major and they hold extremely well.

never had a bad ACT of the 4 i've used (ACT 2100 and 3 act 2600's)

I just ordered the ACT couple days ago, haven't put it in yet and probably won't be able to for another month. But the reason why I bought the ACT was that I heard great things about them
