How to lose that Butt, Xtremeboost style

So i told Frank i was feeling bloted and he had some bun workout he wanted me to try. Well I was feeling frisky today so i decided to try it out. I was please with the outcome

I recieved a rear bumper support from Frank, he said that the stock one weighed like 121323lbs and his weighed -5lbs. So i was willing to try it out. (ok im lying a little). its more like the stocker is about 50lbs and Xtremeboost beam is like 10lbs. Seriously.

I also removed the passanger side towhook as it weighed like 7lbs. why woudl i need 2 in the rear anyway?

SOme Photos Below.

I had to make the lights fit.. so i used Tape!! ^^

just because it looks good.

XTREMEBOOST.COM FTW

Tape? Come on, go to lowes and get some aluminum sheets . Cut out a bracket from it and drill a few holes to the beam. More perminant than tape and wont add that much weight. By the way, love the car!

The Bar normally comes with previsions to bolt-up the lights making the unit a 100% bolt-on part .

Rig up a hitch receiver and you're onto something big....

In your estimation, how does this impact the safety of a rear-end impact?

thats great that you lost all that weight, but that just means less cushion for the pushin.

And if we take this out of its metaphorical context, i mean to say..

You're f8cked if you get into a rear-end fender bender. That's going to crumple like aluminum foil.

Also, I don't see it on the site. Can you post or PM the price plus shipping to 53177? If you don't rig up a hitch option this might be a good starting point for me to make one for myself.

i dont DD the car, so im not fully worried, but either way, that stock crash beam didnt sit off of the car in any way, either way, if the car gets hit in the rear its gonna crumple.

Thanks for your post . We actually had a local customer "test" one out for us already a few months ago and it passed with no problem . The guy lost his front bumper and intercooler was bent a bit but he was able to drive the car home then drive it to our shop . These bars are made of 6061 and are reinforced inside , not just some random bar .

you're welcome.

You can never fully "test" a product as completely as the guys who do this for a living. Namely, the Fed. Reg guys. I'm not knocking you or this product in any way. It's probably a good product, and you guys didn't design it to be as sturdy as the OE rear crash beam, so nobody should give you or the product any complaints if it buckles at 5mph.

oviously this product is not for the faint. Im trying to build and storng fast car and i want to use weight loss to my advantage. i would like to get the car around 3400lbs and its is possible. i've taken aprox 200lbs off this car so far and Frank is helping with the project.

I also cant wait to get my front light weight bar from Frank!
