I agree with SpeedClinic. I believe 400whp can be accomplished with the stock turbo. IIRC, the prototype Cosworth cams that were tested made about 380whp on the stock turbo with "touch up tuning" on what I assume is 91 octane. Those cams are only 266. Imagine what 272 or 280s could do with a complete tune.

Without no hesitation I will say its VERY do-able - I know now that we're able to run 30lbs without issues the car sure feels a lot faster than it did when we ran 11.8 months back - we just have not had time to put our car back on the dyno but I'll say our car is making over 400hp right now on a 100% stock turbo . As soon as a good flash comes out you'll see many 400+ stock turbo cars . Mike you've been in my car with 4 people and at 32lbs we broke all 4 tires lose in 2nd gear .

Thats awesome, is it the hybrid 50 trim or is it a actual t3/t4 50 trim? Thats awesome I'm assuming race gas/high boost?

ARP Head Studs

I'm still working on springs and retainers. Also goign to come out with the HYDRA EMS unless a good flash comes out before the end of the year.

actually no, not at all. at the CRANK...which i believe he was refering to is def. achievable with a tune, intake, and exhaust...i would bet money on it

and yeah i know that was awesome.

oh and i got my car sideways yesterday, first time in my evo so i know its making alot more power lol

It doesn't do it at full throttle it only does it on partial throttle. Usually on 5th gear when I'm cursing and then I want to get past some one. You hear the turbo spool and a service error comes out and then it only revs 3000 rpm.

Yeah Ecutec thats when it all started... I'm doing the cam on the car but wanted to see if I could figure this out before... You know not to add another part till its running right
