Help Melted Spark Plugs

hey i guys i have a hue ignition problem and need all the help and opinions i can get. i have an AEM EMS, and a fully built Cossie head, with many other supporting mods. when we retuned my car we noticed that the spark plugs were bad so we replaced them with a step colder. later that night i was in fourth gear and it started misfiring badly. i took my car immediately in and the spark plugs were so hot it took us an hour to get them out so we wouldnt ruin the threads. heres the bad thing, 2 of the four tips were melted because it got so hot, we regapped them to 20 and went a step colder, i changed my boost from 25psi to 18psi and staying out of fourth gear on open throttle. what do u think could be causing the problem? Coil packs? spark plugs? relay wires? cold starter? alternator?
