ps:since gas expands in the summer/heat you get more ,does it compress in the real cold?
Considering gas is stored in underground tanks, seasons have little effect on the amount you fill up (you won't get less in the summer and more in the winter, etc)

Right, I think it has more to do with air density, and the effect of that on combustion. But I'm not a physicist, and I don't play one on TV.

They switch to a winter blend usually could have to do with that?? I wonder this myself, I want to see the gas tested and results thats what we need and question answered..

The winter blends decrease MPG, but I remember hearing they started using this year round in NE, but not sure.
