Color Opinions
US car sales are down 45%
You have the power
Demand a larger discount because of the paint quality
Buy the car and leave it the way it is
Just buff and wax...
You don't want aftermarket paint on your bumper... won't hold as well
Paint by machine is the best, since it's thinner than any spray gun can spray
With time, don't worry, you'll get more scratches, so don't worry about this one.

OB is my favorite color by far, so I would say get that and forget about the scratched WW. But if WW is what you want, then you gotta get it! Trust me. I bought a 300ZX TT in a color I do not like (burgundy), because it was a good deal, and ended up selling it less than a year later.

Get the white. It's not that big of a deal to have the bumper painted. you won't notice a thing and it will look as good as new. Mitsu paint from the factory is not that good anyway. You are probably making it better by painting it again!
DO IT!
DO IT!
Definitely get the white like you originally wanted. When I bought my car, the hood had to be repainted due to some imperfections in the paint. It sucks to have the car fixed so soon, but sh*t happens and I'm sure brand new cars are already repainted and touched up at dealers more than you would think. I'm sure you'll be fine in the long run, and you'll be happier in the end.
No way would I buy a brand new car, regardless of color, that had paint damage! Mitsu is hurting................there's a thousand WW's sitting on dealer lots all over the country!!! Have them locate one for you! If they want the business (and they are all starving at this point)...... they will! I get a new car every year so I think I know a few things about "dealing" with a dealership!
As for the color choice............ with the blue.........the color may be "rare" (withever that means) for the Evo but just about every Suburu is that color! As for the WW.........when you get the clear bra............you'll be seeing ALL the edges since dirt accumulates at the junction of the material and the car.

I guess the way to go is to do some research on who's going to be painting or fixing the bumper and have them guarantee that it will be fixed to my satisfaction.
I don't know why i prefer white over the other colors maybe it's cuz i had a white GSX? but i just like the white/bronze or white/hyperblack combo. I know that dealerships are hurting right now, but I'm pretty happy with my deal for a GSR w/SSS. I can't afford to wait too long because i refuse to miss out on the 0% APR and this is my first time buying a car to build my credit with my dad co-signing so i guess we'll see where it goes.
All I know is at the end of the day i'll be posting pics of something i choose.

When you buy the ww and you sign the papers, get them to put a note that they will paint the scratched area and it has to be to your satisfaction. They put a note on mine that I got $xx worth of
acc of my choice as part of my trade-in. If it is in writing like that they can't screw you around.

i agree with funks silver cars tend to show less dirt and paint damage. Black is the worst every chip shows like a big zit on your forehead. But a single chip on a car shouldn't be a reason not to buy it... get it fixed and repainted ... nothing drastic just about anyone can fix paint chips with the right tools and few simple things from the autoparts store...

Well i reffered a fellow member on here to them and he's interested in the white too. But i need a car soon so if he can't get it by the weekend i'll be picking it up as long as they put in the quote saying that it will be fixed to my satisfaction. If not then I'm heavily leaning towards...still don't know lol but probably graphite grey or apex silver.
