Color Opinions
Ok guys i've straightened out a deal with my local mitsu. But i've ran into a snag.
I orignally wanted a WW GSR with SSS. But it has a really small scratch on the front bumper where the hood meets the bumper. left of center facing the car. not noticeable from 10ft away unless you know what to look for. Of course they are offering to send it to a body shop to fix it. But that means my new baby goes to the body shop for a day, then back to the dealership to take off the ralliart tail lights(didn't want them, over priced). So i don't think it would be wise to buy a white car that needs to have paint on the front bumper done here in AZ(too many loose rocks that can chip at the front bumper paint)
Second options are the same exact evo's same package just Apex Silver, Graphite Grey, Octane Blue. I pretty much want to stay away from the RR or the Black. Plese elt me know what you guys think?
A.) Suck it up, take the chance on the WW
B.) Octane Blue as they seem rare and MR's aren't made in that color
C.) Graphite Grey <- someone in the area already has one
D.) Apex Silver <- Neutral in colors looks nice overall but too many silver cars on the road already

well it's not necessarily what other wants, more of the fact that i'm scared the scratch won't be fixed to my satisfaction. and that the paint won't hold up against rock chips as well since it's been painted
i got AS and so far nothing i can noticed, not even after i got keyed (it wasn't that bad though)
but if you really wanted white, you are probably gonna end up with some regrets if you don't get it.
every car will have paint problems, so try to put like a clear bra on it or something =\

I would say go with what you really want because you will regret it in a few years. My dealer wanted me to take a silver or GG one because that was all they had in. I really wanted the octane blue and had to wait 4 weeks for them to get one in for me and I'm so glad I didn't settle for the other colors. IMO I think octane blue is the nicest looking color but I like white too(My 2nd choice). Go with your heart and they will be able to buff out that scratch with ease. PS... Keep the RA tails and sell them to me

Like others have said, go with the color you like. I wanted a GG Evo 9, but had to settle for an Electric Blue(which admittedly grew on me), but now I am so happy I got a brand new GG Evo X.
GET THE COLOR YOU WANT..... in the long run, you will be happier with it, and you wont kick yourself later on saying "i wish i got...." if you see a scratch on the car and you are buying it brand new, talk to the dealer, they usually fix that stuff for free.

Well they are offerig to fix it for free. My thing about it is, even though it's that small section on the top bumper area that meets the bumper, i wonder if the paint will chip easier or fade sooner or oxidize or be poorly matched etc. etc.
thats what i did with mine. i told them i wasnt going to buy a brand new car that was in "used car conditions" Phantom Black none the less so a scratch sticks out like no other, but they fixed it perfectly and you cant even see where it was.
