Just wondering why the Pass. side one is open & functional but the Drivers side is closed? Is this right? Doesn't that aid in cooling the brakes? I have brake air dams in the Aero Pkg, does this change things?

 

There is an oil cooler behind the opening on the passenger side; that's why that side is open and the other side is not. You can see it if you look closely. It's just a black colored mini intercooler looking device. As far as the brake cooling is concerned, the car has channels that guide air to the brakes anyway, I believe that the aero package comes with pieces that just help further guide the air for even better cooling. MR has the open mesh for the tranny cooler. i have the MR mesh on my GSR, looks so much better

 

JoeyM3: You know your going to have to tell me how I can get it, Part # etc,how much? easy to change out? Enlighten me please. I'm also thinking about the chrome MR grill ring,your thoughts?
