I just saw this on craigslist.org and sent the person an email but just heads up the person in the reply wanted your full name and address to open an ebay Safety Bank account. Can anyone run the VIN and see if it shows up ? Thanks

That Evo was on ebay the other month. It belongs to someone in Cali.
This is a very common scam on craigslist. I went and flagged it. Hope a few more of you do it, so CL will take it down.

Its a nigerian 419 scam, they try to get you to western union them money, using some "ebay square trade", insured, gauranteed, yaddy, yaddy. Basically, if you are local, go see the car. If the guy says he left the area or country, just forget it.
Another buzz word to look out for is if they say "USD" instead of $$. They usually never have a number to give you either. They'll always tell you to email.
One guy told me he was in the Air Force "Office of Special Investigations" and I said "really, I am with the Criminal Investigations Section. Needless to say he didn't respond.
