Question Problems Installing Wideband?!?!?!

ok, so i just got done installing my AEM wideband and i'm testing it out after i flash my car to read my afr and all of the sudden a service engine soon light comes on. so i go back to my dealership where i work and i ask one of the mechanics to check the code for me to see what it is, thinking it was going to say too lean or something like that. nope, the code is for MAP sensor plausablitiy, which turns out the be the wire i taped into to get the 5V i need out of my ECU for my wideband! Does somebody know which cable i need to T off that won't cause any problems!? or a different solution?

Why do you need to tap the map sensor for your wideband? Unless your trying to tap it to read voltage for datalogging purposes. Tap the signal wire. There should be a constant 5v wire, a ground, and a signal wire.

i didn't mean to purposely tap into the MAP sensor wire, it was the first 5 volt wire i could find. what signal wire? what color is that? Do you have one installed? I installed the red wire to power, the black to ground, and then there is a white wire which i believe is for loging, and the blue one is the one i T'd off the ecu which needs a 5 volt reading.
