it's really odd. when the problem first started, it would turn itself off during driving. even at low speeds. now it's always when the car is started. i could care less about having ASC on while i'm driving, but i'm annoyed by the beeping and warning messages in the message screen everytime i drive.

Did you at least get back to Ben from Ecutek. He is really cool and is extremely helpful.

I donno what u have been reading or hearing but that statement is entirely untrue. The new GTR has been making big power with bolt on mods just like Gtrs of the past, maybe even more. There are a few ecu's and ecu flash available for it (Cobb flash is 70+ Hp) plus with aftermarket upgrades such as the HKS570 kit (Intercooler pipes, mid pipe, turbine outlet pipes, boost controller) most owners a getting upwards of 150 hp easily on the dyno with some cars breaking 600 whp after dynoing 410-420 stock. The whole wheel thing is a easy fix there are tons of GTRs running aftermarket wheels, thats one of the first mods people tend to do to their cars.

My apologies for going off topic.

Jay

Well if Cobb was able to break the GTR ECU, my hat goes off to them! That said, I am a little surprised since it took months for X to finally get EcuTek and that was with the head start England has relative to us. Periperals are definitely possible but ECU tuning was, according to others, supposed to be difficult because Nissan did not want anyone going into this ECU so encription was made difficult. In addition, only 70 whp from an engine this large [3.7L] seems like very small gains; the X, with only 2L engine gets this and more with a few bolts on and tune.
Please give me source for the dyno results from a GTR achieving 600whp. Thanks.

I have never had a problem with any Ecutek tune including my current tune on my X. Maybe try a different tuner IMHO.

The AP has been out for a little while now (within a couple weeks). Check the tuning forum.
