Problems with ECUTEk

I am having problems with my computer going crazy. Problem started after the flash was done. The flash was done by VIVID and they are really reliable so I'm was thinking it was something else. But today my Cruise Control didn't want to turn on and the gas pedal started acting weird... Reset the computer ( turned off the car and turned it back on and the problem went away.

Anyone have any issues like this?

yeapp. i have an ecutek tune and my ASC has turned itself off for about 2 months now. i'm getting really annoyed with this problem. the dealer said they won't look at it until the stock springs are back on, or they'd blame it on that.

definitely a pita

I hear thats cause of excessive torque. Mine is just freaking out. The car sometimes doesn't accelerate the same way... Like the drive by wire system malfunctions and sometimes it goes into limp mode... Dude my car has problems.... I think I am going to send the ecu back to vivid see if they can see something weird in the flash..

Hey guys,

Could you e-mail me with more details about your car (parts installed and model) , tell me who calibrated the ECU so I can communicate with them and fix your issue ASAP.
The other important information would be your real name so we can trace back your calibration.

Cheers!

i got the ASC lights on when i turned the WGA rod tighter. When i loosed it back to normal , the ASC light never popped on again. That was before i got the ECUteck tune.

So i think it should be boost related?

hmm... wow, what a complicated car mitsubishi made. they are really stupid for making the car so sensitive to simple mods

Hey, don't ***** at least you can add mod's; in the GTR, a $100K car after dealer mark ups, you can't do anything to the ECU with Nissan's "lock up". According to Sport Compact mag, you can't even change the wheels due, I believe, to their TPS system!

Wow, very interesting that you get the ASC traction control light with the Ecutek reflash. We've read a number of these cases. You are not alone.

This is incorrect. Cobb has the access port and ProTuner out for the GTR. You can tune the car just fine.
