Tanabe USA is Still Looking for an MR!

Hey everyone, we need an Evo X MR in the local area of Torrance, CA to do some R&D on a set of springs. If everything works out you will receive a free set of springs installed on your car. Please PM us or email us at info@tanabe-usa.com

I have a idea on while you are having trouble finding someone to loan out their car for R&D. More than likley you will require the car for days and are only offering a set of springs for the use of the car. Not a good trade imo. You should spice up the deal and then maybe you will have some takers.

Totally agree - a set of springs to use a new MR for X amount of time Toss in some extra goodies and I'm sure you will have some takers.

Doing a proper suspension research and development plus testing takes minimum of around two weeks for a prototype spring. In addition, testing the final product on a vehicle after manufacturing is required in usual engineering standard practice. For owners that have only a single vehicle, it is difficult for them to loan out even for a returning gift.

These are the first guys I've seen that actually are willing to give the product being tested on the car to the owner. Every other thread I've read from companies looking for a "test"car mention that'd they'd only "get a deal" on the product being tested, and none of them seemed to have a problem getting volunteers. These guys are the first I've seen step up and do the right thing. Someone with an MR looking for springs will chime in.

Glad you found a donor. How will these springs be different than your current GSR springs?
