I got into my first Evo at 25 and i'm 30 now. i'll be honest... you find me a car that can with very minor modification "out muscle , muscle cars" and "out handle" and "out track" cars costing $100000+ ( not to mention take 4-5 people to dinner ) and if my 75k a year budget can muster it.... ill buy it. Until then i'm keeping my Evo!

Hey, I'm 44. I am not old. Unless you count "old" as experienced enough how to work on almost anything that moves. And the poor guys >50 probably don't think they're OLD when they're hauling a$$ in an Evo X. No way!

I think 25-28 is a bit young for a $30,000 car that takes as much time as it does money. Of course it depends on other "life" and "work" time requirements. I don't think I allowed myself to slow down and have good quality hobby time when I was in my 20's or really much time in my 30's. Career, wife, kids, house, travel, pets, etc....

Still got those but phasing some out and some aren't as demanding, again, due to intentional changes. The Evo deserved to push a few things aside I suppose. There's that vanity and ego talkin!

I'm 48 and love my evo. The only problem is its never on the road. Always apart waiting for stuff to come from japan. If it can be modded I'll buy it. By the way is AMS ever going to be ready to sell me a turbo kit?
