Well here is a new one; for the past 2 days everytime I turn the heat on full and I drive around for about 15-20 min there is a strong burning plastic smell inside the cabin.
My Evo X GSR is stock with about 6500km, does anyone else have/had this problem and how to rectify it?

 

have you checked under the car to make sure you didn't pick up a plastic bag on your exhaust? Had that happen one time.

 

i think i have this too...but its not strong. right as i started using the heat this year I purchased/installed the lancer all weather mats, so i thought it might have been that.

 

I have got it a few times... Some testpipes burn the exhaust hangars too.

 

Have you tried taking it to the dealer for warranty work? They might be able to come up with a solution...
