its a known problem for evo x's. there are quit a few posts about it on here. you can go to your dealer and tell them about it, there are reflashes for it to try and fix it.

I have the most recent reflash and it still happens to me sometimes. It really pisses me off. If I go somewhere and the car is off for a short time, then get in and start it up, it's died a few times. Sucks *****.

Do any of you have problems with partial throttle boosting? My car hesitates and starts bogging out, but the dealer says they put the latest TSB reflash in.

I'm not sure if they really did...but I cant go back to check while its there.

for those still getting the problems after reflash, I think your dealer didn't do crap to your car lol

I had those problems and after a reflash everything was gone, you guys should try going to other dealership and see if they can reflash it for you =p

I wouldn't call the idle problem a mystery

I have the 2nd dealer reflash and the AMS intake shield and I still have a crappy idle on occasion.

I'm thinking that myself since I see no new reflash sticker saying it was done

I have this problem also. I have the reflash and an Ecutek tune, none of them fixed the idle stumble. I hate idle problems

Purchased my X in March of 08, had the 1st reflash, and now I'm tuned. I still get the weird idle after restarting the car after a stop.

Possibly something with heat under the hood and a sensitive sensor somewhere?

I will be putting back on my stock intake. I'm sure it's my open element intake. To the OP do you have an aftermarket intake? If you do thats the problem. If you have the stock intake. Get the most recent dealer flash that should help.

i have an AMS short ram intake on now. love the gains, funny thing is, i only notice it when my A/c is running, but when i turn it off it goes back to normal. idk it's kind of freaking me out. but other than that my car runs fine.
