Mine has yet to come off and I only notice it when first getting in my car and it has to be under 30 degrees. And it's fine once the car gets warm inside. If it pops off I guess the dealer can fix that and my seat.

No problems here...although my E-Brake handle was slipping off when I bought the car.

that is the absolute weirdiest thing i've ever heard. I swapped the stock one for the JDM alumninum and leather 5MT knob on day one of ownership and it hasnt budged (I'm in a Chitown suburb if that means anything).

I guess follow others' advice and use locktite? I mean it's supposed to screw off anyways (just not involuntarily). Good luck!

update

i just got back from the dealer. i told them the issue and how others have had the same issue. the service manager is having it replaced, and he commented on how the engineers need to go back to school or something like that. he thought it was a ridiculous design flaw.

just letting others know...there aren't any threads to be putting locktite on. this is a design flaw, let the dealership take care of you.

Mine does the same thing. Showed it to the dealer and they tightened it somehow. The knob hasn't come off again but this morning I noticed that it wasn't straight anymore. It really is a pretty crappy design, I mean a metal knob over a piece of plastic. Why not just thread the metal knob?

mine came loose this morning a little bit, only 500 miles on the car. soon as the car warmed up it didn't move, i just took it easy on the shift knob.
