Fast Key

so heres what happened, today i got out of my car and forgot to lock it using the door so i pushed the lock button the my key and nothing happened so i pushed all and buttons and still nothing.

all of the fast key system works (locking & unlocking from the door handle, and the ignition) but none of the buttons on the actual key fob works.

i changed the battery in the key but that didn't help any, and i also disconnected the battery on the car for 10 mins but that didn't work either

what do you think it could be??

key fob is borked. Take it to the dealer and have it replaced.

The fastkey works on an rfid circuit, so all the stuff is in the car. The key fob works like a normal keyfob with circuits and buttons to break.

I believe for the trunk to work you have to press it once and then press and hold it a second time until is pops. That might be your issue.

Ok so what they had to do was replace both sets of keys with brand new ones
