Removal of Aero kit?

Hey guys, I just purchased an Evo X from IL. and it will take about a week to reach me in Miami. It has the Aero kit which I’m not to fund off, but I wanted to know if it can be removed with out leaving any exposed holes in the body?
Especially the side skirts I think those will be the first to go and I was wondering if the smaller side skirts are still underneath them?

W White.

You know if you can just remove it and will it look stock without leaving any damage or drilled holes? I've tried searching but no luck.

I had the Aero Kit installed at the Dealer and they gave me the stock side skirts back so I am pretty sure you will need stock side skirts to put back on if you take the Aero Kit ones off. The front Lip and Rear side panels are just add ons. I am not sure on the tape or screws.

Why would you want to remove the aero kit? It was actually engineered to create more downforce.

I think it is more personal taste than engineering. Just like many of us do not like the wing on on the back of the car, yet it creates down force.

the stock aero kit looks decent, but make is it poorly stuck on. Those side skirts were the first thing my 2 year old stepped on and made the $2k decision for me.

And if you're going to lower aggressively the "jay leno jaw" has to go otherwise it's gonna drag.

But you're going to have to buy new parts (as someone else pointed out). The front bumper is different too.

Can you remove the front lip easily? I've been thinking about doing this for winter driving.

It does leave holes, I've went thru 4 rocker panels due to their terrible design. Their easy to remove though... I've uninstalled and reinstalled them myself and it literally took minutes.

This is what the car will look like with the front lip removed:

Notice the exposed white near the bottom of the grille area? That is covered up with a black trim piece on cars without the aero kit.

I would just leave the aero kit on buddy. Looks like it is more of a hassle than it is worth, and it doesn't exactly look hideous.
