blowing some steam off!!

I've got to release some frustration about a turbo I ordered, I bought the thing on thanksgiving weekened, since then, I have felt like I have got the run around week after week and now I wont even have it by christmas, looks like january before I get it. It just seems like it should'nt take that long to get a turbo to me, hell I would think they would of atleast try to keep one on the shelf. No car for christmas to drive and hav'nt had a car for weeks since ive been waiting. I have had a appointment for a tune with this new turbo at ams in january, who would of thought that making a appointment a month early at ams would come to maybe not having the car together in time.

Looking around the site, it appears they're a small operation. It's likely they just drop-ship from their supplier. You ordered, they found out their supplier didn't have one in stock, and now everyone is waiting. They know if they told you, you'd cancel your order and buy nothing, so they just keep it to themselves and hope you stick it out.

Pretty common, unfortunately.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!
As of this morning they still had no clue when my tubo was going to be built, so after waiting over a month I ask for my money back, so they are refunding it to me. This is a warning im letting everybody know if they where ever looking to order from turbochargers.com DONT!!

Thanks to blouch, I will have a turbo in less than a week time

thats pretty crappy of you to post this, even the bigest vendors in the evo community dont have everything in stock, all the time

so unless you know with 100% certainty that they got your order, delayed it by sitting on it for few days/weeks, then finally placed it with artisan for dropship, and now are just checking in with manufacturer giving you BS stories, you have not come accross something uncommen here.

as someone else pointed out, this happens all the time

Im not trying to argue with anybody, just stating after a month of them telling me things that were bs stories about the turbo getting done, I canceled. So yes they had my order, and I dont expect everything to be in stock but to just be honest with me.

You got to realize that most of these companies do not have mass amounts of stock. Alot of things are made to order and with the hoildays around thats when these companies get the bulk of their orders. I waited for over a month for my TBE.
