Its never too early, but I would suggest to install the air filter when you finish the break in process.

it is not to early, just don't push it hard until you hit you 600 mile mark.

Nice man. I didn't even really get to do anything with mine.

Bought it with 17 miles on it then drove 1059 miles to my house. I then drove it to get the oil changed and then brought it back and put it in storage. I guess I just have to wait until spring. Kind of sucks.

I'm surprised by the posts in this thread. The X hasn't been out for a year, the engine is new, there's no durability/longevity data relative to the mods that were brought to the market very quickly, backed by a few dyno runs, leaving the real testing up to the buyer. Isn't anyone concerned how this can impact the reliability and longterm performance of the car?

I would search and read on modifications before getting them. Those green springs were complete trash on the CT9A platform. I expect the same out of them on the X's - just be aware.

I personally am waiting for a few thousand miles to begin modifying the engine. Tuning solutions in NJ area? I would contact Sean Ivey or CBRD.

There is a lot of info in the VIII/IX side. Yes different platforms, but was was good for the CT9A should translate into a good product in the X world also.

The are one of the worst for the Evo. They are too low (alters geometry badly) and too soft (means you will bottom out the struts). And they do not improve handling, just the faux since of improvement.

Its not about swapping them out. They will kill your struts.
