I would really check out the Swift X springs. They are great on the CT9A, some of the other X guys are running them too. Check out the X susp/brake/tire forum.
EDIT: just revisiting the X spring options. Looks like Tein revised their setup. Still a bit low. If you notice, the trends on that platform is to keep it around an inch lowered. The geometry does not like getting slammed.

I had the same debate when I bought my X. It's the first year in production of a new model car, so it's not a great idea to mod the hell out of it if it's your DD and you're looking for reliability.
That being said, sticking to bolt-ons won't really hurt. If something ever went wrong, just remove your intake or exhaust and your warranty should be ok.

swift makes great springs,
i do not use Tein for ANYTHING, unless a customer buys them himself..
I have the eibachs on my X and they are nice... Car still needs more than just springs for trackuse... it's weight overworks the stock dampers... and using a stiff bar to compensate is just going to make it nervous on entry.

While we are on springs, Swift puts in a ton of research time before they produce their product. Each platform is specifically addressed, researched, engineered, tested, given to race drivers for feedback, and re-engineered if needed - all before it hits the market.
