How long before brake change?

How long are people going before having to get new pads? Also, do the front ones wear out before the back ones? When you press on the brake does it apply all 4 brakes? yes i have alot of questions lol

Depends on how you drive. Spirited driving will result in more wear and tear. Yes all brakes clamp down when you press the pedal. Front wears faster than rear, most of your braking is done with the front.

Best to check the meat on the pads visually, when you rotate tires.

If you hear sqeaking, change pads. If you hear and feel grinding, hopefully you wont need to buy new rotors.

Squeaking doesn't necessarily mean your pads are bad -- inspect them.

My pads (not stock) squeal like a **** -- worse than a garbage truck. But they have lots of life left.
