The car showed up with 30 miles. The salesman from the dealership drove it straight to the shop which is about 20 miles away.

The parts alone are at least $30,000. Ten weeks of labor at $80 per hour is probably around $32,000. So, if AMS does this work for less than $60,000 they are not making a profit. Add to that the price of the new car, at least $25,000. So, the owner is probably paying somewhere between $85,000 to $100,000.

I bet he's not the type that has to worry about getting a loan or too concerned about voiding his warranty...
