yeah, but it's a tough time for me because of work and a lot of other stuff going on... not that I wouldn't love to go and get it obviously.

On a side note.. it's funny because the dealer that was higher just seems to think it's not the same car because of how much less they are selling it for. Interesting how when a dealer can't match or beat a price it automatically can't be the same car.

I was in the same predicament. So I bought a plane ticket. Flew down to southern Cali. And drove my octane blue EVO X back. It was a great 7 hour drive back home. Good breaking in miles to..

so you all think I should go with the one that's cheaper and just get it myself? I mean I hate to be cheap, but 15-20.00 a month is a half tank of gas or more... a month's worth of internet ( the cheaper one at least ) and we're trying to budget our money for when we get married and such.

yeah man, i'm pretty excited... to be honest I actually was thinking of getting a standard WRX since the perfomance is really good on the 09's and the price is low... but having the 4.9% with 26-28 k really isn't much better than the 31,2 with 0% and of course a WRX won't ever be an Evo.

I'm with everyone else. I wouldn't trust them to drive it to you. If they can drive it to you, they can ship it to you. It's worth it to ask. By the time they pay for fuel for the car, food, and possibly a hotel for the driver and his plane ticket they could have shipped it to your door or a local port. You should ask. I shipped a car from NY to CO and it was only $850. From the MidWest to MD would be far cheaper and besides, I'm sure they could get some sort of freight discount shipping it. Also, you've contacted as many dealers as you could within a few hours radius of you? No one else could do a better deal? Just some things to think about...

no, the dealers local to me are not willing to make any sort of deal... to be honest, hardly any of them have base model GSR's.

hey,

getting the car, congrats man! i've followed some of your posts.
the only thing i would say about flyin to pick up the car is that i thought most break in procedures said no extended highway miles during break in..
not too sure, but i think that's how my car was at least.
then again, don't know how **** you are with everything.
good luck, and i say spare no expense to get EXACTLY what you're looking for, otherwise you'll always have a slight bug in ya, you know what i mean?

I see you got your deal dude congrats!

BTW, are you serious they were going to fly you in? Then pick you up from the airport and drive you to the dealership? Wow they must be hurting!
