My cars bleeding!!!

Well I dropped my car off to get a alignment today and thats where the day still went good. After they finished my car they called me said it was ready so I went to get it to find some news that they saw a leak under my car. I went over to a friends shop to put it on the lift to see what it was, at this point I didnt think it could be much. At first glance I saw what it was and was very frustrated and confuzed. How in the hell does that happen!!! here's the pic if the crack

That sucks bud! Not sure what to tell you honestly. If you haven't been to a dealership with all your mods you may be able to return it to stock and then have them warranty it. I know it's a lot of parts, but it may be worth it to save the money...

I would hate to put everything stock back on it. If any shops could give alittle info on how something like this happens I would appreciate it

Also you have nothing to loose by taking it to the dealer that looks like a defect in the metal to me.

My dealer is giving me trouble for fixing the known problem with the stuffing showing on the seats. They take a ton of pictures on the car, and save it all in Mitsubishi corporate's database. They commented on my tire selection, which means they examined the tires. This was for warranty work on the SEATS in a completely stock car.

I can't see any way they'd cover that. It may be a defect in the metal, but would it have become apparent at stock HP levels? They'll say no, and deny the warranty claim without giving it a second thought.

I would take it to the dealer and see what they say. If they refuse to do the warranty work because of your mods then I would make them prove that the mods were the cause of the problem. It's very frustrating that every dealer is different, my dealership has no problems with mods yet the one 10 miles down the road is exactly the opposite. Good luck and keep us posted.

If it's warranty repair, it's FREE isn't it? So if anything, that would hurt them more than be a benefit during these tough times.

Oh and...what city are you located in, Western_man? I saw a Viper a few days ago, maybe it was you?

How can you deny warranty for a faulty casting? There's no mod that could affect that.
