Do we have enough HP (stock) to accomplish that? To overcome the aerodynamic drag etc.

MR owners dont get too happy.

This is a GSR with a prototype 6 speed and a manual dual clutch. The only reason for the 6 speed is top speed. Currently the 5 speed i think it's max out @ 163 or 167 i think.

Probably not stock but honestly...how many "stock" evo's are out there lol

And to whoever got 26mpg at 80 I'm truly amazed, the best I've ever managed cruising at that speed for any real distance is 23. Are you tuned?

I think the new gear box could be amazing...just hope the pricing isn't as bad as it was for the other 6spd conversions I've seen from them in the past (5k)

Someday we'll have mods for the SST and then we can forget about the limit placed on them.

I sure hope to god that they do come out with upgrades. This thread got me really excited, but too bad it's not for TC-SST...

I got 26 mpg at 80 mph on the flat (minimal #'s of small hills), after the factory reflash. It was about 1.5 mpg improvement after the reflash, about 24.5 mpg before.

Mine is stock and will probably stay that way.

Nice. On average in my RalliArt I'm getting 20-23MPG and around 24.5-25mpg on the highway if that's all I do. I'm jealous your evo tune....

i spoke with a friend of mine stationed over at japan who owns a evo x and he said that from what he got its for the mr. also by looking at the pics you could see the front center garnish, its bling, like the one from the mr's. the gsr' dont have that color, i have an evo x gsr. but if it is a new prototype for the gsr or mr's i say bring it on it should be great if the price is right.

good point. but the side mirrors and door handles are black. looks like a RS to me. can anyone tell if the headlight is HID or regular light bulb? my cheap monitor can't show it well.

Japan configurations dont apply to us. You can get what we call here and MR with the 5 SP tranny. The HKS car is manual.

Here you go SST owners quit salivating...

I had seen an article back in October that HKS was releasing more part for the EVO X among one of them was 6 speed upgrade for the MT along with 2 photos of the gearsets mounted on a display as well as a single and double clutch upgrade for more power along with the graphs that showed the holding power of the new clutches.
