Has anyone here installed the full console from the '09 Evos yet? I see that JapanParts has the rear section with the covered cup holder, but I'd like to see how much the whole setup including the new storage bins, shifter surround, and covered cup holder costs. I assume that the '09's being held back in the US has kept those parts out of the US parts catalog for now, but thought that someone may have done it or seen the part numbers.

No one has yet.

Covered cup holder is like $80 shipped so I imagine the other portion is like $200 or so.

I just sent them an email too. I don't want the new outer support/AC surround shown in the pics I posted as I think that the chrome trim strip around it is a bit odd, but I asked them to confirm if any of the three available finishes for the two "boxes" that they have listed under the Galant Fortis section are the right one for the Evo and if they have the shifter surround available.

Basically, it appears that I need the two boxes, the shifter surround, and the rear cup holder section (which is already on their site). Depending on the price of the shifter surround it appears that these four items should be around $200 shipped from them.

I'll post what I find out from them, please do the same.

looks like they might actually have fixed the crappiest shifter boot that came on a stock car with this new pannel

Well, definitely looks better and more useful than the big hole that is on the US car.

That's not really a JDM thing, it appears to be on all '09 Evos in all markets. Of course we haven't seen/might not get any here in the US until the 2010 model so we won't know for sure if they are going to change over to that setup as standard for the US until then. The 2009 cars delivered in Puerto Rico have it, and they're generally pretty close to the USDM configuration.

Those parts do look very nice and clean, I wished they came out with this design for the '08's....Now I might have to spend an extra 200
