how quiet is a stock mr?

i know its loaded with sound deadening and a very restrictive exhaust, i was just wondering how itll sound when i autox it? not expecting it to be like my subie which has a totally stripped interior and loud exhaust. i know most people want a car to be as quiet as possible, not me. i should mention i don't need an obnoxious open exhaust either.

It will be scary quite...so all of your fellow subie auto-x'ers won't even hear you before you pass.

Your best bet is to go test drive one.

It is very quiet, and I hate it. I am adding the AMS cat back to mine, with a reflash in a couple weeks. It was great to drive on trips though, which I will miss.

I'm a little ticked off by the wind noise in mine. I wish it were more quiet.

It depends on what you are comparing it to. Compared to other EVO's it's quiet but compared to the 08+ STI or WRX it's noisy. It doesn't bother me or anything but it's not that quiet of a car compared to most cars in the price range of an MR.
