I will just be doing the oil.

You can change all the fluids if you want, but its really not neccessary. The owners manual states not to change the oil till 5000 miles I think (which is a little longer than I prefer to wait for the 1st change)? I will be doing mine at 3000 miles, and their are a ton of people that do it at 1000 miles.

I changed my oil right about 1k miles, and felt like the car gained a little power. Maybe just was smoother acceleration? Ether way, I would change the oil at 1-2k miles for sure.

It's so easy to do, and probably so good for the engine because the break-in oil is full of crap.

What are the recommended intervals to change the tranny and other fluids? I don't have my owner's manual handy.

^^^ 15K for severe conditions (of if you actually drive your car like an Evo) and 30K for regular.

I changed my oil around 3,500. Ill have to take a look in the book to see what it says. It has a nice outline about when to do things

changed my oil at.. 962 miles hAHA. couldnt wait for 1000. Was planning to have my transmission fluid changed because of the notchiness at the next oil change but the notchiness has sort of gone away. Probably will have all driveline fluids changed at 15k.

How is it so easy to change? Don't you have to jack the entire car up or get it on a lift in order to get underneath it? I'm at 1,700 miles and will be changing out my oil but just not sure how to get to it without doing the above.

I think you just have to jack the front up, and I believe it is only a few bolts to remove the access cover and drain plug and filter are right by each other, so I have heard. The dealer is doing my oil changes for the first 37k cuz it is free ,,,,,so not sure
