350whp with IC piping and a exhaust and no tune?! HAHA. And then he goes on to say once it's tuned with a FMIC upgrade 400-420whp?!

Maybe it's in Canadian horsepower. What a douche!

Ive seen this car in Edmonton.
He likes to drive it hard, I saw him downtown.
However, I had my sick sister in the car, so I couldn't pursue him and talk.

This kid definitely doesn't know what he is talking about!

EDIT: I hit contact us and wrote a short little blurb. I hope someone with Car Envy reads it. I also linked this thread in the letter.

They were quick to reply to me.

Hi Carlos,

First of all, thank you for contacting us with regards to your concerns about the accuracy of the Evo X article published February 16, 2009.

I appreciate your concern and I am pleased to see that there are other people in Edmonton who are as passionate about cars as we are. I would like to apologize if there were any inaccuracies in the quoted power figures. I did not see a dyno readout and tuning, nevermind Evolution tuning, is not my specialty. In the future, I will certainly be more vigilant in verifying the accuracy of any such claims.

Having seen your posts on the two forums your linked to, I couldn't help but notice that you also drive an Evo X. Since you are a passionate and well-spoken individual, I would like to offer you a feature on CarEnvy. This feature would highlight your vehicle, its mods, and give you a platform to refute anything discussed in the Feb 16 article. If you are interested, we will set up a time and date that works for both of us.

Regards,

Peter Dushenski

Talon_66, are you on WSC by chance? Sorry for the off-topic post but your profile seems familiar. Anyways, how are the canadian bumpers different from the US bumpers?
