Replacing the center plastic consule

I put a big scratch on my center consule. You know the long plastic piece where the cup holders are, and where the e-brake handle slides through. This is on a GSR.. Where can I get a replacement. And how hard is it to remove it? Can someone show me. Thanks..

The center console is just what, two bolts...lol

There's instructions here: http://www.redlinegoods.com/EvoXinstall.shtm (note: i'm not advertising - simply showing instructions available)

As far as getting a replacement goes...uhm...it's either dealer or the part out section if you're lucky.

Talk to RussellM at Mitsubishiparts.net. I'm sure he'll be able to look up the exact part for you and get you a good deal on it.

if you're replacing it, you might as well get the '09+ with the cupholder cover, looks a lot cleaner. mine should arrive shortly!

I recently got the 09+ with the cover so I have no use for mine. If local part stores are raping you on price let me know and we can work something out.

The cuoholder part just pulls up. No screws involved.

how much do the 09 cup holders cost shipped? I'm debating this change as well since it makes the car look cleaner. i thought about the top piece too right below the HVAC knobs.

The console part with the two compartments is not available to my knowledge. People have tried to get it from japanparts.com but they haven't been able to get it.
