Removing center console in EVO X MR

Well I've got evry single screw out that I can find and it still won't budge. It's different from the GSR console (I saw those posts) - so hopefully someone out there can help me get this out of the car!

THANKS!

The trim around the shifter is one of the pieces I am replacing, but it's all seemingly clipped together like 12 pieces of plastic origami and I don't want to snap anything.

I've taken apart tons of cars over the years doing stereos and alarms and have never seen an interior with so many interlocking clips and snaps. No wonder the whole thing creaks and rattles over every bump! It's a sea of hard plastic...

try taking out the hvac panel lol.you have to remove the center console, glove box, head unit/nav trim.its worse.here are acouple of pics.let me know if you need more pics/help.the 1st pic is the underneath of the sst panel, 2nd pic is the sst panel removed,3rd pic is the button location on the shift boot.unbutton the button on the shift boot in pic 3,you can unscrew the knob if you want, unscrews just like the 5spd.remove the 2 screws that hold down sst panel, push it forward alittle and lift up,its just 2 clips as seen in the first pic holding it down, there are 2 harness clips undernearth, there is another harness clip for the cigarette lighter its a pita harness.you can see it in the 2nd pic.

Thanks for the help. You really have to take a leap of faith when popping these panels because most are help with clips or a combo of clips and screws. And yes, to get at the HVAC you really have to remove a ton of stuff!!!! Here are some pics I took that will hopefully help someone else:
