What happend if you mod two single exit exhaust into one exhaust?

Just had a weird thinking, if I buy 2 single exit exhaust system and combine them into one using Y-pipe.What's gonna happend?
Can we gain more hp? nicer sound?

If i had to guess it'd be comparable to some of the production exhaust systems that have y-pipes and use 2 straight-through mufflers. that is if i'm interpretting what you're saying correctly...

when i saw the title i thought you were gonna hook up two canisters inlet to outlet. haha

I'm pretty sure the HKS exhaust does that...does a Y split into two canisters from a main pipe. Not a fan personally.

^pretty much that. You end up with HKS Hi-Power exhaust
