GSR or MR X? Looks like you'll be getting about $23k trade-in, and '08 GSR's with SSS are going for about $28k, so $5k should be easy to get.

^^^ that sounds about right, someone on this forum just traded in their 9 mr i believe with 20k miles and got around 24 or 25 or it and paid 5k and got a X sss. So I think you could do it with your trade in plus 5k.

I feel like $5k is pretty optimistic, but it doesn't hurt to give it a shot.

you guys are lucky to get a new GSR w/ SSS for $28k..Here in socal, southcoast mitsu sells the GSR w/ SSS for $31, 499.
2000 rebate or 0% financing which cannot be combined.
don't forget the $500 loyalty rebate.

ok i went to my local dealer, they offered me 21,500! which i didnt like and i told him i wanted more, then he said i needed to sale it on my own and if i did that i would be able to get 26k.. ok but i dont want to do that, so we talk numbers on the new car (sss_appearance pack) sticker was 35k, so he said he can take the 2k rebate and the $500 loyalty rebate witch = $2500 off the sticker price and thats it.... lol i thought it was so funny what they try and get over on people. in the end it come down to my car plus 11k which is a joke! i told them ill just have to get my deal somewhere else then..

man do i hate mitsubishi i dont even feel like shopping for the car anymore, i wish i lived in cali

I've heard of people buying cars from out-of-state dealerships and having them shipped. If you're that frustrated you might consider it.
