water on spare tire compartment

HI!
i just wanted to if it happen to anybody here.
just this afternoon after i finished cleaning the car. i put some washer fluid and also try to look where i can make a hole for my backup camera wiring in the spare tire location.
as i remove the wooden board i saw water(500ml) just sitting on the spare tire location close trunk latch(bumper).
dont have any idea where it come from, but on the bottom of styro where the jack located is little bit damp.
i didnt remove the water yet cause i want the dealership to see it when i bring it tomorrow.

Oh, the nightmare has begun. I had that problem with my civic and trust me sometimes like a needle in the haystack trying to find the problem.

I assume no accidents?

If needed I will give you a laundry list to troubleshoot the problem.

yes i got an rear accident and they replace the rear panel.
already bought to the dealership but they told me bring to the bodyshop first so they will know if it came from the accident.
the bodyshop was own by the dealership so if the bodyshop can find anything, so i pressume that the dealership will takeover.

So you had an accident? If so prob has to do with the repair. Rear accidents are one of the worst, very hard to get the trunk right.
