Differences between Evo X (2008 and the upcoming 2010 model)?
just thought i'd mention this. idk about other places. but at the mitsu dealer i pass by on my way to school, i saw some evos so i went on the site and they are knocking off $8,000 on new 2008 evo x's and giving 0% APR for 6 years .... what a great deal. too bad i wont be buying my evo for a little while.
but it might only get better as time goes on ! pretty ggood !

Well, their online advertisement of $8,000 off MSRP is a little fishy too. After briefly speaking with a salesman (after explaining I cannot simply drive to NJ for a test drive since I'm in Virginia), I found out the $8,000 includes military and loyalty rebates, and if I were to get 0% financing instead of extra rebate, I'm looking at about $2,000 off MSRP. The sticker prices on their GSR's are $35.5k and up, making a GSR with SSS and 0% APR start at $33.5k + TTL and go as high as $38k + TTL (which I'm assuming is fully loaded).

I'm in the same boat as you. Best deal I can get is 34ish + TTL. Comes out to about 36.3k. SSS, Aero, Navi, Interior trim included. The dealership also tells me that I loose all the rebates with the 0% financing, but I still get the same price without the 0% with about 6% APR.
I just wish I could've had one of those awesome-deal success stories that I hear every so often on these 2 threads discussing pricing.
This is where I'm getting a lil lost. I thought the difference between 0% APR and about 6% APR was a $2,000 factory rebate. Oh well I'll keep looking. If the 2010's roll around and dealers are still charging close to the same price for the 2008's, I'll just get the 2010.

I still have my 04 RSX-S that I need to sell so that'll help out a lot.

I just did this today too.. so I'm sure they still have it.. its a GG one.
That's not bad considering the sticker is around $40K, right? What was your price before TTL? Did you get 0%?
Oh yeah, the voting. Assuming those changes listed are accurate, I voted go for an '08. That's what I'm trying to do. All those changes are fluffy stuff - no hp increase, 6 spd manual, etc., I see no mechanical changes/improvements listed.
i was watching regis and kelly today (don't ask why) and they had a guy from car and driver talking about "hot new cars at the ny auto show" and one was the ralliart sportback supposed to come out this summer as a 2010 model...what do you think the chances are that they would roll out an evo sportback anytime soon like 2010? cuz i could use the hatch even though i think it looks disgusting.

.....
Daytona Mitsubishi (in Daytona, Florida) is advertising at least four (two Rally Red, two Octane Blue) Evolution X GSRs for $24,949, plus the 0% interest financing for 60 months. Then they have MRs ranging from $29,999 to $32,299. Ralliarts from $23,237 to $25,095.
I'm seriously looking into purchasing an Evolution X, and figure that I won't get a 2010 model for anywhere near that price anytime in the next year. Now I'm going to assume that's an amazing deal, but figured I'd ask if anyone was seeing them any lower?

Daytona Mitsu is discussed in the last couple pages of the sticky thread about deals/pricing. They are out of blues, and that $24,949 price is without 0%. Also, that price is with military and customer loyalty rebates. So really, it's $27,949 if you want the 0%.
Although, I see you have an Eclipse, so you would get the $500 loyalty rebate.

Well Americans haven't missed anything not getting the 09's that's for sure. We just got the first batch of 09 EVO X's in Calgary and after looking at one thoroughly the only difference is the Ralliart Tails (which do look better).
