Ugh...

No idea where this happened or when. A bunch of those push in "screws" the hold the rubber lip in are just gone. Does anyone know the part number or what they're called if I can get them from Autozone?

This happens often. Just go to the dealership and they should hook you up with new ones.

POS Mitsu Body kit. Seems like there is nothing but issues with it.

I went out of town to buy my Evo, it's like an hour away. There is a local dealer though, think they'd give or sell them?

The screws can't be more than a couple of dollars. Do you need screws or can you just re-attach with double sided tape?

I had the same problem - at least report it to your dealer so people in the future dont get screwed. i only had to put up a little fight for them to cover it but they ordered a whole new piece - let me see if i can find the part numbers....

Autozone has them cheap!! So does your local body-shop. I got a few boxes and kept them in my car. DONT overspend by getting them at the dealership!!

or just take the damn thing off like i did. a new kit is $180 ish from the dealer, because u will need new metal spacing clips that hold the thing forward. plus is is adhered on the front so some adhesive is needed.

mine stopped scraping all the time so im happy its off.

Blah, that's not too bad, just go get some new screws, or even double sided tape would work, if you get the strong stuff from 3M.

Welcome to the club man

I just reattached the front drivers side on mine for the 6th(?) time. You can use "3M Scotch Mount Molding Tape" to reattach it. The only problem is that the next time you scrape the front end, you're doing it again.

I've thought about taking it off but i'd rather reattach that, then scrape the plastic on the front lip.

Yeah mine did this as well. I just got some screws and re-attached it. +1 on taping it too. Some 3M would do it just fine.

Lowes has some pretty good black plastic snaps, and they are cheap! I used some on my mudflaps.

Use zip ties. You wont have to worry about them falling off. Go luck with the dealer because when i asked for some clips at the dealer they said that they had to order them. I know they have a pile of clips at the back but they just want to charge you alot of money from them. Parts store charge alot of money for those damn clip and they barley fit the right hole. You can ask your friends that work at the dealership, to find you some.
