Ok so I've had this problem with my radio since I got my Evo. For some reason, the music can only be heard at around 18-20. It's basicly acting like volume 20 = volume 1 on a normal car. Does anyone else have this issue? Its not really a PROBLEM, but its just annoying. I brought the car in to be checked out and they agreed it was weird, performed a ton of diagnostics and couldnt find anything actually wrong with it. They checked another Evo in the dealership and it was doing the same thing. So they are leaving it.

So as of right now, unless someone else can offer some advice, Im stuck with it until I install an aftermarket system.

Yeah same "issue," if that's what you want to call it.

On the streets with the windows up, 18-20 is good for me.

Windows down on the streets, maybe about 22-24.

Freeway windows up, 22-24, and windows down 24-26.

I don't see the issue unless you have hearing problems and can't hear the radio at those settings.
