i actually like it..i like the MR front bumper and the side chrome.

if anyone would like to trade either parts pm me.

 

I have my windows tinted and because of it the chrome looks horrible. I do like the front grill but may just sand the chrome on the side windows and paint them with rustoleum unless some one wants to trade PM me

 

Is there such thing as expensive chrome? Chrome is chrome. It's either chrome plated steel or plastic.

 

The GSR all black look more aggressive but the chrome looks good to on the MR not much of it on there... I say both look good... depending on the mods and color of car...

 

I like the chrome at the grille. It give a completeness in the grill (full enclose circle) as oppose to the look of the "cut open" mouth.

I also prefer the color matching vents. More subtle. I for one think the unpainted vent, especially the one on the fenders looks like cheap unpaint plastic. But to each his own.

You think it's cheesy? wow, IMO it gives the car a much luxurious tone. But if u don't like it, well take it off. Maybe swap front bumbers with a GSR like orange_bettle said

I've got a lot of people giving me compliments on my Ralliart, specially the front-end with the crome trim.

I'm not a fan of chrome either. I'd trade with a regular lancer or by simply painting it.

 

I think i'll go with something of this sort for the window part... any other materials, vinyl, etc. that's a little nicer that anybody knows of...?
as far as the grill i'll try to see if I can pop it out and paint it. Thanks for the input guys.

 

I own a silver Evo X MR and I like the chrome

 

I agree with the comment that the chrome completes the front grill.

But I also think the chrome looks best on only 3 colors ... GG, AS, and PB.

 

the chrome does come off a little poserish u no bling bling. but imo. not bashin it just dont seem right on an evo u no!!! but ya have a buddy with a cts and he used the 3m black like the other guy said, unless you check with the mitsu dealership they might be able to do something, like sell you at a ridiculous price replacements from the gsr model..

 

Chrome looks good on graphite gray MRs - definitely adds more detail to the black front grill.

 

had the dealer exchange it for the black on a standard evolution they had as a demo, before i picked it up. happy to get rid of the window chrome, but as has been mentioned, prob made a mistake giving away the chrom on the grill.
