Any solutions especially for the chrome on the window strippings would be much appreciated...

 

someone will probably come out with carbon fiber peices for the x.. i believe they have for the 8 and 9 but they never had the gay chrome.

 

I personally like the chrome!

 

itll be discolored/pill off idk about mitsubishi but. cadillac has that crap on the sts and cts the new ones its not real chrome. It starts to look gross threw out the weather I see it all the time on gm vehicles.

I did a cheap and simple and reversible way...go get a huge piece of 3M matt black wrap, cut out the shape and pasted over all the chrome and gunmetal bits. Once you are sick of black, tear it off again.

On the BWM forums, there are several persons who have used plasti-dip to color the chrome pieces black. Apparently it is reversible, too.

The only chrome I notice is on the front and I actually like it. The window stripping chrome is barely noticeable IMO.

 

I never noticed the chrome on the windows. Now that you've pointed it out to me, I think it looks pretty bad.

 

the cheap chrome and the poorly painted vents on the MR look horrible IMO.
