Be careful... If you have a DRL discount on your insurance, and you disconnect them, then get into an accident, your insurance company could deny your claim...

I guess you could pop the fuse back in, but that's your risk.

Anything you do to it does i guess but it seriously takes less than 5 seconds to do. Plus it tells you how in your owner's manual.

Yeah I don't get it. There's dim light, bright light, yellow light, white light, but I've never seen or heard of ugly light.

Isn't there a way to enable the HIDs as the DRLs?

i could be mistaken, but in Canada i think all new cars must have them by LAW...if you get in an accident, the insurance company will just have one more thing to screw you with.

DRL's have been mandatory in Canada since the early 90's.

most of the cars here in my country are either imported directly from japan or from europe so here cars dont have DRLīS so most people when they see the car they show there lights to me thinking i have them on and that i havent noticed it. so thats why i dont like it.

I agree they are ugly.. I will be looking into replacing the standard "living room lamp" bulbs with LED clusters to at least make them white as opposed to yellow.

Regardless of the data, DRLs have saved me and I'm sure others many a time when stupid drivers go around without flipping their lights on at dusk or at night.. at least they're DRLs are on..
