Pictures? And what exactly did you buy? I want to do the same, but apparently it'd prolly still be an insurance issue?

As long as you have DRLs.. you have DRLs. Can't really see why they would try to deny it if it were brighter...

Either way, the bulb size can be found on any auto website that shows replacement bulbs.. you just get an LED plug-in pack. It's just a/a bunch of LEDs soldered onto a board that ends in the same connector as your stock bulb was.

And make sure the LEDs are spraying light all over and not just in a single direction. That'll make sure it utilizes the reflectors inside the housing.

I wonder though if the Super Bright LEDs will warp/melt the DRL housings and the plug. I've put aftermarket lights in an older car and I had to replace the plug cause they got melted.

I bought Nokya (I think thats how it's spelled) super yellow bulbs to replace the factory DRL bulbs. Looks pretty damn good. I could post a pic if you want when I get out of work.

Could you link the eBay store you got your LED DRLs from and the item you got. I really like those and would rather drive around during the day with those than my HIDs. Plus then I can see my stereo display better. I hate how dim it gets when I flip the HIDs on. Lol.

Sorry for the late response. I'm looking on ebay and can't find the store or any other ones. If you know the bulb type just search that but leds.

I'd like to know the number of the bulb for the DRLs on there... is that an H11 like the fogs? I really can't find anything that says what the bulb number is for the DRLs with HID.

Maybe I'll just pull it out when I get home.

I think a little duct tape and an exacto knife would do the trick. Or maybe never drive during the day

Here you go guys. Its either 1157 or 1156. Its weird how I cant find the number off of any website. Sylvania.com had the right ones but now it has nothing on the headlights with HID.
I got something like this for mine.

The more leds the brighter.

Yeah, I looked at the sylvania site, and it doesn't show what the bulb is... 1157 it is I guess...

Were you able to get the bulbs swapped without pulling the light assembly off at all?

Yes I took the bulbs out without taking the whole light out. It was a little tight but was doable. Couple of scratches on my hand though lol but anything for the evo.
