The 4B11 baby comforter

In a strange twist of fate, the thing my wife dislikes the most about my car is the thing my children have liked the best.

When my three year old daughter was an infant, sometimes she would cry to the point where we just couldn’t console her with a bottle, burping, a pacifier, laying her down to rest, etc. One such day, I had to run an errand and put my daughter in the back of my Evo VIII. That car had a turbo-back exhaust. Within a couple miles and 5 minutes, she was out like a light. I thought it was a fluke, but it worked time and time again.

Now, our son is here and he is similar with the inconsolable crying spontaneously once every few days or so. So Saturday, I decided to pull the wildcard out on him: the Evo. I don’t know if it’s the resonance or vibration of the aftermarket exhaust, but the wifemobile's quiet stock exhaust does not possess this magical baby sleep potion.

So Dads, if you can’t get your wee one to rest, bust out your modified Evo, and take him/her for a peaceful ride for a few minutes. My wife doesn’t like these hard facts, but she is countered by and cannot deny the reassurance that our children will rest more soundly with a cat-back. Ultimate Racing, my kids like you.

Anyone else with similar experiences?

Hahaha awesome. One thing I don't like is having to take them in and out of the seat all the time. Someone should make a baby seat motion simulator...AMS, UR, anyone?

That's awesome..... "But officer, I don't have it for sound and performance gains, it helps put my babies to sleep"...

Edit**** And that of course will be in my future Exo X. A header back exhaust on an OZ is likely to permanently disturb a child, not lull it to sleep
