does it do boost? oil temp? etc

im thinking about going with a PLX OBDII gauge and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them.. i really like the ease of installation and clean 1 gauge multifunction idea

i talked to a vendor selling it on the forum and they said that evo8/9 didn't have boost in obdii and they don't know about evo x..

i dont want to buy the boost module if it's not needed

 

whats the refresh rate like if your getting the data from the OBD2 port?

 

i have a dashhawk on mine and it shows boost among other things

 

FYI: The original Blitz R-Vit icolor doesn't work... I learned the hard way :P

 

so the dashhawk is able to read boost from obdii ?? then that must mean the plx should be able to also.. seeing they're booth obdii readers..

 

PLX cannot read boost by itself. I think it's a software issue, the OBDII module that it comes with cannot read boost from the OBDII port, even though other OBDII readers such as dashhawk can.
