Dealer should fix it unless by some totally unfortunate coincidence you shorted a connection while jumping it, which I highly doubt.

most likely if you have unplugged the on off switch and they stay on
an the only way you can get them to shut off is to pull the the relay for the lights and you have changed the relay with another one and they still stay on

then the problem prob a Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
everyone seems to forget that 99% of all the electronics in these cars all go threw ETACS

also you code reader prob does not read body codes you prob have codes stored like DTC B2350: Lighting switch

staight from the service manual TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
•Column switch may be defective
•The ETACS-ECU may be defective

best thing is to stop messing with it and take it in under warranty
if they determin that you were takeing things apart trying to fix it they would more than likely blame you saying that you shorted something out cause damage to whatever part has failed

I would personally just pull the relay tell your ready to go to the dealer then install it and let them worry about it

stop taking it apart and go to the dealer, that's the point of the warranty most likely that relay is powned since the switch doesn't change anything.

Your fuse box looks a little different from some SSS i have seen, but i have noticed there are some SSS with the normal relay and some with a Wave Tranducer.

IF you take a look at this thread involving modding a GSR to have HIDs you might figure it out.

http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/sho...?t=9187&page=9

As noted before there are settings in the ETACs that can be changed.

Hi,
I did not have time to go to the dealer yet...I'll go there next week maybe when I'll have more time. but as some mention....I guess the problem might come from the etacs.
I'll let you know
