Mine does it too... but maybe you should be watching the road rather than your hood.

Seriously though, of all the things to complain about this one is so far down the list, for any car, that I can't even imagine making a post about it.

You can wrap the section of your hood that attaches to the fork with some kind of material so theres no space to move around.

I've never noticed this problem on my car. Is it really that noticeable that you'd call it a "flutter?" That seems pretty serious. I would think if anything it would be a vibration perhaps.

I've had mine up to about 140mph with no hood flutter. I've never really looked, but most cars have those adjustable rubber stoppers under the front corners, does the Evo have them?

you guys are missing the point - fluttering does not happen on the front where all the hood stops are. the front of course doesn't move because the hood stops help hold it in place. it's the middle/rear part of the hood that flutters a bit. by that i mean a very small bit, negligible, even. you have to understand that the hood is as basic as a sheet of aluminium (pronounced AL-U-MIN-EE-um otay?) so it will move around no matter what you do, unless you somehow add hood stop on the rear and give it resistance. THEN it won't move around.

i have a carbon fiber hood and let me tell you, that thing flutters around so hard it's hard to ignore. but if people with dry carbon hoods don't worry about it, why should you?

update: my hood just flew up and smashed my windshield and roof and i crashed into a concrete divider. every bone in my thorax is fractured and lungs punctured.
please tell me this is a joke???
