Like others have said, you can get a short-throw shifter to remedy the "long" shift throw. Also, you can adjust the clutch pedal to more your liking. As for the fading, I doubt that is going to be an issue (tint).

The clutch grabs way to high..maybe its because i'm use to my acura?
the shifts seem longggg as **** as if i'm shifting from here to califorina.
I am worrying about seats, weather striping, door panels fading.. anyone else experince this? I read about the user 626 with 36k on his Evo x experincing these things.

You'll get used to it.
And I wouldn't worry, if you do tint everything inside should be much more protected.
And even then, if it is really the car you really want, those are all silly little things to worry about.
