I had the dealer reflash my car yesterday for (TSB 08-22-002) for MR
(TSB 08-13-006 or 08-13-005 for the GSR) The reflash will mess the car up for about three days till it relearns everything but right off the bat I was averaging 21.5 MPG in the city, where I normally get 18.5 ish and I got 27 on the freeway when I normally got 24.4-- (The Best I Ever Got).
So the reflash helped tons on gas mileage. I also have a full 3" TBE system w/ cat delete, drop-in Blitz filter, and a hardpipe intercooler kit which the reflash has had no issues with.
The tech hooked me up with the reflash even though I wasnt getting the DTC P1320 code. The car seems to idle a lot better and the AFR seems to be more where it should have been when the car was made! I believe it bumps it up from 9.5 to 10.0 from what the tech was getting on his laptop. So it helps and was worth it.

 

Hmm interesting because my dealer game my MR the TSB 08-13-006 reflash and I am also getting much better fuel economy!

 

They gave you a version of that Tsb yes but the 08-13-006 is the GSR version for the tranny difference, but the flash you got is the MR version and yes the little it leans it out helps a lot on the gas mileage as well as probably adding a few ponies

 

I have no mods and had a (TSB-Ivey Tune) and it chugs gas and spews smoke but it pulls like a beast

 

hmmm.... i just got a reflash on my MR ... TSB 08-13-001...? I think my mileage is a little better, but not entirely sure.... will monitor for next few days to see if it has really improved..

 

I got the flash and I do notice better fuel econonmy. I haven't measure yet to see the hard numbers though

 

The idle was trash on my car b4 the reflash. It didn't start that way either just after 3k miles or so. Even when I flash Cobb's Ap stg 1, the idle was crappy and it chugged gas.

After the dealer flash, and my flash to the stg 1 map again, the car is rock solid. Idle is perfect. Still chugs gas thou...
