There is a TSB for this relay although I cannot find it at this moment other than to say I went in to dealership to just pay outright for the "green" relay (~$38) and they told me that there is a TSB for "idle problems" and replaced the relay on warranty. The replacement is exactly the same one as that for the headlights; for some reason, Mitsu used a different relay for the fuel pump from the factory but are now replacing same with the "green" relay.
As a side note, when I went in today for some installs, I was told Mitsu asked to have my OEM "black" relay, removed earlier as per above, returned to them directly for testing. Why is Mitsu so interested in this relay if it is just for a problem with idling?
The failure of this relay has been suggested as a possible cause for engine failures due to lean conditions on modified and relatively stock X's (see https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...misfiring.html).

Later, Ken

I just picked up the #8627A011 green relay a couple days ago. On the package, it is marked #8627A011 "Horn Relay" - It cost me around $18.

Totally stupid question, but........Is the relay just a plug that you pull out the old with your fingers and just place in the new one?

this is it was gives them reference to the relay as you can clearly see the left relay black one is for the DRL so are they correct?

could someone with a 2010 check the relay to see if mitsu changed them-?

also if the 2010 have the same black relay does the car have like check engine light or a warning if it goes to lean?

I thought the black on on that picture is the fuel pump relay left of the most top green one.
